IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK

Got Questions?

The Dynamo Ink Company journey has taught us a lot over the past 20 years. We’ve seen jobs of all shapes and sizes, from start-ups to established brands. But our goal has never changed. We believe in helping our clients reach their goals and sustain their success. We care about the process as much as the end results. We take pride in every aspect—from color selection to fabric choices. This is what makes The Dyanmo Ink Company different

So here’s the plan. Let’s attack this head on. No shortcuts. No passive approaches. The investment is worth it and we have one primary goal in mind.

With every step you take, realize that the next level is waiting for you. This is your time to shine.

Let’s get to work.

Most Asked Questions

Basics

We are located in Raleigh, NC—with designers and artist in South Carolina and Florida.

We get this one a lot too.

The short answer is…

Sometimes.

We like challenging projects that deliver our unique value to our clients. If we feel that we can add value to what you’ve got going on, then count us in. If it’s not for us, then we’ll tap into our network and help you find someone more suitable for your project.

Commiting to a designer is a big deal—like having a girlfriend or boyfriend that only wants to talk about work and colors and other abstract stuff (it’s true, that’s all we talk about). We’ve been doing this a long time and we’ve learned not to under-estimate how critical this is to a successful project.

We like good, healthy relationships—not just convenient ones.

payments

The dreaded pricing discussion. Whether it’s cars, houses, or a vintage record player in an antique shop, talking about money is the “not so fun part”.

So let’s make this easy.

The Dynamo Ink Comapny prices “per project”. We’ve found that this is not only the most cost-effective method for our clients, but it’s also allows us to put together a package of things that you do need, instead of bundling a bunch of items that you don’t.

And we understand, you will find other designers, websites, and companies that will offer what appears to be the same services for less. For that reason, we go above and beyond in not only customizing your solution but also helping to educate our clients on what to look for.

Let’s face it, this project is probably the thing that has been burning in the depths of your soul for months—maybe even years. And we know it means a lot to you. So we can bargain shop for tissue and paper towels later. But let’s get you paired with the right designer (not just the least expensive one) today.

We accept cash and most major credit cards. We also accept checks, however, this requires prior agreement and approval.

Yes. A full deposit is required on all orders. This helps us prioritize your project and access the best resources to bring your project to life.

For graphic design,  web design, and video editing projects, 50% is due immediately—once the contract has been signed.

For screen printing and custom apparel, 100% is due prior to production.

For all other projects, 100% is due upfront unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.

Guidelines

We aim to complete all projects within 60 days—with screen printing being on the shorter end (7-15 days) and web design having longer lead times. (45-60 days).

During the initial discussion, we’ll propose a timeline and project plan to meet deadlines as well as holding weekly update calls along the way.

You thought we were going to leave you high and dry? Never!

Support is available. And based on your project, we can discuss the level of support that’s needed for your business.

Good question! We want every client to be 100% satisfied, which is why we offer a 24 hour “cooling off” period for all projects. If you cancel within this time frame, we will refund your deposit/full amount minus a 20% consultation fee (not to exceed $100).

If you change your mind once work has started, you will receive a prorated amount based on the progress—which will be outlined in your agreement.

What would this world be if we never had the freedom to change our minds? Imagine that…

It happens. That’s the reality of any major project. However, this is not always ideal—since deadlines, budgets, and material costs are involved.

During the initial consultation, we’ll ask plenty of questions to uncover any undeveloped and/or under-developed areas of the project that may exist. We’ll partner with you to address those areas and proceed when they’ve been resolved.

If something changes, we will revisit the original plan and The Dynamo Ink Company will determine the impact of the proposed change(s). Some changes may only affect the timeline while others may impact the final cost of the project. If new costs are involved, the contract and invoice will be amended and payment for the changes will be due immediately. This will ensure that your project has the necessary manpower and materials to be completed.
